Recognizing the lack of conversations and designs about menstruation, I started to prototype a smart menstrual cup that can detect and predict menstruation flow from a phone app. My personal effort has led me to initiate a design project to bring more diversity into the picture. Currently, I am conducting user research on underprivileged communities, such as women experiencing homelessness, in order to design more menstrual products that meet their needs.
